Get confident speaking a new language out loud.

If your question isn't answered here, contact us at hi@rehearsewithme.com.

Q: Why does Rehearse focus on conversation?

A: There are lots of fantastic learning resources for new languages - group classes, apps, websites, social media accounts. We're big fans of many of them. The largest gap in the current set of language learning products is an effective way to prepare to speak out loud with other people. Rehearse is laser-focused on this need - helping you feel ready to have conversations with native speakers, without anxiety.

Q: Just curious - why did you start with Korean?

A: Rehearse is starting with Korean because that's the language we know best - both as a learner (Kristie) and as a teacher and content creator (Sangbong). Korean is a popular but tough language to learn, and for many native English-speakers, it's a hard language to find a conversation practice partner for. We're starting here because we understand the user need well, and we will expand to additional languages soon.

Q: What about AI? Isn't chatting with an LLM a really great way to practice a new language?

A: Most language learners are not learning a language to chat with a bot - they're learning to chat with other people. Maintaining a human connection is front and center in our product experience. That said, there's no denying that LLMs are made for helping out with the conversational language practice problem. We use LLMs behind the scenes to enhance our content and feedback capabilities.

Q: I'm a language learning content creator. Can we work together?

A: We have big plans to expand to many more languages in the near future. If you are a language learning content creator who is passionate about helping others learn your language, reach out to us. Please include links to your social accounts so we can see your work.
