Do I need to already know Korean?
You need to already know some Korean. Rehearse doesn't teach Korean from scratch, it's where you practice speaking it. Rehearse's levels range from simple, slow-paced conversations for newer learners up to full-speed, natural conversation, so you can start at whatever level matches your current ability level.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Three practice modes are free in every conversation, including the most supported one, and one conversation at each level is fully open, with all practice modes available. Just download the app and start - no sign-up needed.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start practicing right away. Sign in with Apple or Google when you want to subscribe, or to keep your progress across devices.
Is this an AI chatbot?
No. Every conversation is filmed with a real Korean-language creator, speaking the way people actually talk. Most language learners aren't learning a language to chat with a bot - they're learning to talk with other people. AI is used to give you feedback on your conversation responses, only at your request.
What happens to my recordings?
Your video never leaves your phone - it's only available to you for your review. Hear yourself recordings stay on your phone too: they're never uploaded, and they're deleted when you leave the conversation. When you ask for feedback, only the audio of your take is sent for analysis, and it's deleted immediately after. Your feedback is saved on your phone with your take, and your account keeps just your best score. To improve Rehearse, we keep a text copy of feedback results that isn't linked to your account - never audio or video.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, anytime, directly through the App Store or Google Play.
Is my data private?
